on Casper, how much would we pay for the same NFT if it had the scale of Ethereum? Same price with an ethereum mint?

Hi Reystar, These gas fees are flexible and can easily change to meet any current reality at the end. Eg token price changes. This can easily be done through updating the chain spec during an upgrade.

Even .30 is too much. Gas is fraction of a penny now on some other chains. Not sure how you can compete on an enterprise level with these fees. However it sounds like it will be different in 2.0…. Soon

This is because it isn't just a "flip a switch" button to reduce the fees. While this can easily be done there are other tokenomic and security factors that needs to be considered as well. Also, the price for minting depends also on the efficiency of the NFT contract and features included in the NFT as well. Some NFTs will cost more to mint while some others won't.
