People ask for updates, transparency etc, this is why we give updates before things' are ready, let;s the community know what is happening, as a bi product of that, you will also know when we extended a timeline or item on the roadmap.

Nothing wrong with showcasing it. They should. It's a big win showing the capabilities of the network. A very big win. However, they do NOT set schedules or make final decision to go live. They might give estimates based on current knowledge, though it appears they should consider not doing that going forward. We see that this attempt to communicate only results in constant whining and complaining in this chat when such estimates prove overly optimistic (as these things often do). In the end, it is IPwe's project. How hard is that to understand?

The mistake Casper keeps making is they constantly throw out dates. “Mint in the next 3-5 days”. Have been saying that all year long and it never happens. People lose trust. Stop giving timelines if it’s not your timeline….

Like I said, probably good idea to stop attempting to appease the children and instead give no estimate whatsoever. There is no way to please that crowd.

It was the same for eth 2.0 if we think about it, better to release a working product than release to early just to meet the deadline
