on any dexes? I would think Gateio or Kucoin would be a good candidate here
UBT is on Uniswap https://v2.info.uniswap.org/pair/0xb27de0ba2abfbfdf15667a939f041b52118af5ba
sorry I meant CEXes and not DEXes. I actually just bought more on Uniswap because of the Dip
I believe Bittrex was the last of the Mohicans
we need a new one. I wonder if any work is being done to make that happen?
I am a LP and earning 0.3% of every trade. It is really the only thing you can do to earn some yield on this thing. An idle asset is a wasted opportunity.
CEXes are a dying breed. If there is one thing we have learned during this terrible bear, it is the future is with non-custodial and permissionless tech.
I agree but to get retail onboard we still need the CEXes. It is like shifting 100% from FIAT to crypto, it will be a long long time before that happens. So for sure we still need a new CEX short term.
We can have fiat on-ramps without CEXes but I understand what you mean
No specific comments will be made about cex listing. Obv if a listing can be done it will happen, but most people do not use cex (liquidity always been better on Uniswap)
You mention kucoin and gate tho, neither have fiat on ramps :)
I don't think fiat on ramps is a deal breaker, what bothers me a bit is that I can only swap my way to more UBT tokens on the ETH network and spend 10-15$ in gas fees. Would be good to have UBT volume on L2. It looks like it is possible trade on Polygon but there is barely liqudity there
Sure I understand that. But then cex charge $50-$100 to withdraw
Everybody can create a new Uniswap pool on an L2 such as Arbitrum or Optimism. The Uniswap protocol is permissionless.
I like the idea. 👍🏻
with all due respect, most people use CEXes, so if we want UBT on people's radar, it must be available on a CEX. I agree DEXes are better (except ETH with high fees), but that way UBT will only be available to hard core crypto enthusiasts.
Which will get banned by goverments.
With the exception of the fontend maybe, how are governments going to ban DEXes? So far, we have only really seen the US government trying to ban them but guess what? the world is bigger than the US.
