earthquake, as it is meant to change its innermost nature, from inflationary to deflationary coin. I plaude the choice, so I've voted yes. But there is something that I still don't understand. What will the stakers's interest be? What will the ultimate market cap be? Will it really be deflationary, that is will be programmed burning phases or will it hav a fixed market cap? Many questions remain to be solved, at least to me.

The link in the details of the kava 15 proposal to GitHub gives some information. Kava Earn is being cut from 5m Kava per year to 0.6m, so the 8% extra boost on top of standard staking will be close to 1% rather than 8% Standard staking rewards are currently around the equivalent of 27.5m per year but from 1st January this will be fixed at 10m per year which I believe would give a staking yield of a little under 8% APR The advantage of this is that we will see 22m less Kava per year (1.83m Kava every month) being given out and potentially sold so sell pressure should reduce. Burns are planned to be part of the future tokenomics but no details yet, I suspect it will depend on revenue generated and volume of tx's in the long term
My own personal unofficial projection/estimate of the Total supply is around 1,078m Kava
