I'm posting this here for some discussion.

It seems to be M&A season and the time of competitive advantage is upon us. Umee and Osmosis are looking to merge. Mars and Neutron are sparking up a partnership. The Cosmos Hub is being forked and so ATOM will be rapidly evolving and looking to dominate but collaborate too.

What are your thoughts about:
1) Kava merging with the Cosmos Hub and that would mean KAVA token holders get converted to ATOM.

2) Kava moving onto the Cosmos Hub as a consumer chain to inherit the Hub's security and Kava validators become governors, like Stride did. KAVA becomes a governance token and is no longer used for gas.

3) Kava moving onto Neutron to inherit the Hub's security. Not sure if KAVA token would be used for gas in this instance.

4) Kava merging with Neutron

Can the Kava team provide any insight on strategic partnerships or alliances?

3 and 4 is not possible because Kava is different from Umee and Mars, they only have 1 app

I´m disagree, why Kava have to surrender to mergers, takeovers or dominations... Kava is part of ATOM, but EVM is developed, and Kava is building his own ecosystem and community. Kava should collaborate, but do not submit

I don't view moving onto the Cosmos Hub as a consumer chain submitting. It would dramatically increase security and likely propel Kava forward into other partnerships

That vision has already been presented in the other post. Disagree, the kava chain does not need that to continue growing

Disagree too. Your ideas are just "merging", and nothing more, Kava got its own brand and strong builds in many years, why just say "disssappear" now ?

I threw all those ideas out just to hear what people had to say. I think becoming a Hub consumer chain is the only real option. Kava increases security, many more people and teams would be promoting it, and the community gets to live on. The Hub gets DeFi, an EVM and USDT indirectly. Seems like there's good synergy to me.

I checked the merging of Osmosis and Umee, Osmosis is a Dex and Umee is a Lending Protocol, their functions are not duplicated, so their merging will bring a max benefits to Users. I think that Kava is not just a hub as you say, it is an ecosystem that many protocols will built on such as Dex,Lend,Bridge,DAO ... I think you should forget your idea

If KAVA became a consumer chain the Kava community continues to exist, the KAVA token would still exist for governance and possibly gas. Those are details that get worked out between communities. Kava would then provide itself with the Hub's security and would have the ATOM community and like 10 developer teams propelling it forward. Noble is launching soon as a consumer chain and brings USDC to the Hub. Kava would bring USDT and an EVM. Kava could become a key component in the ATOM Economic Zone and potentially really benefit.
