and there will never have money for devs? Community has no control. Only miners have control
I am saying trying to steel funds from miners who can barely make a profit now as it is will not work. The miners need to approve the change and they are not going to approve a 5% cut to there wages. Also most DGB devs would not think of adding a centralised fund for development in to the code because that means DGB is no longer decentralised.
Ok. Have you got an idea for devs to get funds ?
Best I can do is people donate to dgbat.org or other dev run projects and devs making projects that are profitable consider donating a percent of profits or time to non profit endevors
Ok. I am very pessimitic about this. But i understand your opinion. When i see renzo getting few thousands bucks…
Yep it is hard to get money for open source.
It's because Renzo has clearly set out the steps needed to be taken and how much it'll ultimately cost. I have a clear roadmap for what I'm doing too and I've found that people are willing to donate more eagerly when you write stuff like that out clearly.
Because DigiByte is being developed and supported by a Core-team and Community (all non-paid volunteers), we can never commit to dates to accomplish future projects. Therefore, please consider future projects to be flexible in time. We have a DigiByte Pipeline instead: DigiByte Pipeline A list of items that we want to do for DigiByte, some with / without bounties etc attached, and others simply as a great way to cut your teeth on DigiByte. Visit DigiByte Pipeline DigiByte Monthly Updates Here you can find what is currently being worked on and what has been accomplished on a month to month basis. Visit DigiByte Monthly Updates
