Hey @samkazemian and/or team - I’ve picked up more FXS

recently since I’m Frax-pilled, I want to lock it for veFXS but am wondering with the inevitable launch of Fraxchain will there be FXS utility there and whether I should just wait save the gas. Any recommendations?

The current plan is you'll be able to stake veFXS both on ETH mainnet and Fraxchain and the balances will be unified. There's of course going to be new veFXS utility for Fraxchain. So it doesn't matter where you stake (other than maybe saving gas once for the lock). Your veFXS balance will be unified so you won't miss anything on Fraxchain if you stake now on mainnet.

Probably sometime soon after Fraxchain mainnet launch like a month after or sooner. But my point is that there isn't really a reason to think of it as "locking there or now on ETH mainnet." It's not an either or decision since the balances will be unified and have the same utility. So you're fine either way 🙂
