purpose and consequences of the following three fields?
"json_metadata":
"posting_json_metadata":
"extensions":
These appear when some Hive accounts are created, and seem to be kept even after an account's keys are changed.
I believe posting json metadata is the info showed as a users “profile”, the quote, avatar image etc. or, at least that stuff is part of it when looking at Hiveblocks.com
Thanks! I understand now what the "posting_json_metadata" does. But I'm still in the dark regarding the "json_metadata" and "extensions". All these entries are linked to Hive accounts and can be seen using chain explorers, although they are empty for most accounts. It would be very nice if someone could explain the purpose of those two entries in detail
Somebody here will know eventually, hehe. I do know that at least for my own account, the posting json metadata and json metadata visible via Hiveblocks specifically are the exact same info (profile photo uploads, cover photo, quote, links etc).
Hello, could somebody please answer my question? (see copied above) 🙏🏻 If possible, I would like to learn how to change the "extensions" parameters for a Hive account. @sorin_cristescu @Eoin_Carroll @Gandalf_the_Grey
