After.
And has there ever been a halvening where it didn’t pump ?
Traditionally pumps and dumps before the halvening to create a bull market confirmation. We haven't had a confirmation yet. Patterns from the past cycles do not guarantee the behavior in the future though. And confirmations are not obligatory in TA. They can be replaced by time in a range.
So you think we’re in a bull market for 2024 ?
As in Bitcoin increases 1000% in price, it occurs after a halving.
Not yet. If you check out the previous cycle, we are just about in the phase where a bull market confirmation was created. A few more weeks for BTC to either dump to 28k or 20k, or to prove resilience by timing out in a range.
If it dumps, then I bet 40K for starters. Perhaps 35K. I think it’s quite stable now but anything could happen I guess.
The ETF has not been announced yet, so there's no sell the news incentive yet. And the mini dump at 44k was only traders frontrunning the expected 48k top.
Ah, that’s right. Unfortunately I don’t pay that much attention to the news lately but I heard rumors.
There was always atleast a correction before or into the halving. It has not happend yet but I think with the ETF release it will happen.
2 out 3 havenings BTC pumped before and continued to pump through. Except the last bc of covid dump
Those down moves are massive into or before the halving that is a logarithmic chart.
No new lows were made. Maybe I'm confused about the question but the chart goes up and to the right for the last three even without log
Big 20% corrections have happend before the 2012, 2016 and 2020 halving from major weekly swing highs. Your logarithmic chart hides that.
2 out 3 times if you bought now you would profit even at the lows of the correction. So BTC pumps though the havening..
All in how you interpret it.
