I think they could if they’d actually work together and make an EIP for voting. But they don’t. They could also just be working together to increase value buy not dumping all day every day. While some of there points are valid about DAA, they still don’t work together to improve it. Which sometimes makes me wonder why we give them such great responsibility and power over the network when they don’t seem to actually appreciate the opportunity given.
They don't need an eip, just need to organise themselves with pools and have a simple majority of hash to increase fees for themselves
Oh, interesting. Good to know! I thought it would have to be set…
Nah, lots of things they can do with a simple majority if they were organised and engaged
Yep, just have to organize with the pool to have them set the parameterp
The organised part is the hurdle I think
I question if PoW really has such great advantage over DPoS. Is it even more censorship resistant? Why do miners not seem to organize and accomplish things in the ecosystem?
A question for EF and core devs .. I don’t know
Because what we are referring to as miners are pool operators. Common small miners simply don't get into setting up a node
