We all got a 15% decrease in rewards. Simple arithmetics here: From all rewards, 60% go to miners, 40% go to stakers. Now stakers get not 40% from all the rewards, but only 34%. 1% less every month is not 1% off the stakers rewards, it 1% off ALL rewards, but it is all taken from stakers only. It doesn't mean that miners get more. They get their 60% as usual. It means that those 6% of all the reward that were for stakers will go back to the null address. Now simple arithmetics: (100*6)/40=15 15% is what stakers lost after the reduction. And it will go lower and lower until stakers get 25% of all rewards. That will happen by October 2024. And that means that the overall decrease will be: (100*15)/40=37.5% Say, before this adjudtment you got 100 zils per cycle as a reward. After January 16th you started getting 85 instead of usual 100. In October 2025, you will get 62.5 zil per cycle. One more thing: before January 16th, the network distributed around 5 mils of zil every day as rewards. 3 mils went to miners, 2 mils to stakers. By the end of October 2024, all stakers will get around 1.25 mil of zils (if no additional adjustments are made). Hopefully, by the end of October 2024, we will go Zilliqa 2.0 and PoS, which means that there will be no miners with their 3 mils every day. So, based on my simple calculations, instead of 5 mils a day before January 16th, we will have only 1.25 mil a day by the end of October 2024, and that will be for only stakers. Much less selling pressure. Around 8% APR, which is pretty much. And what is more important - there will be a couple of more years after October 2024 before we reach full 21 billions emissions. That is how I see it based on the information from the open sources.

Well, I can't say for all stakers, but those who follow what is happening in the ecosystem, were ready for this pretty sharp drop. As for the majority of stakers... When I see how many stakers and zils the Atomic Wallet, Moonlet and CEX SSNs have... Some people do not even notice that Atomic SSN doesn't work at all or that their node is not 100% online, but 70-80%, hence, less rewards))) And you are saying about the 15% drop) Those who stake at those nodes probably do not notice and do not care much.
