and it stated that “tezos addressed its slow network speed with the Nairobi upgrade”. So we’re we capable of the million tps before the Nairobi upgrade?

Which website? I don't think that 120TPS was considered particularly slow one year ago for a L1 blockchain. Of course there were already chains claiming much higher throughput too.

I can’t remember sorry. It was one of those bs ones that will mention 2 cryptos and give a brief paragraph before shilling a shitcoin no one has heard of. It’s been a common theme tho, while the other crypto is normally up to date it’s usually tezos with obsolete info. So if someone asked what the throighput currebtly is, what is the answer?

1000TPS on Tezos L1, one million using many rollups.

Yes but through rollups, not on the L1 alone. Nairobi raised the L1 TPS.
