to USDT on ETH can I bridge the phex to ehex then swap it for USDT on ETH ?
Technically, yes. But, if you bridge HEX from PulseChain to Ethereum Network, then you end up with the derivative token pHex. And, I doubt there is decent liquidity for pHex. So, when you swap it for USDT, you'd lose alot of value. Best to do the swap while on PulseChain.
Bridged tokens are just wrapped counterparts. The tokens you are bridging stays locked in the bridge contract and new wrapped tokens representing the original tokens you locked up are issued on the other side. When you bridge back the wrapped tokens to the original chain, the wrapped tokens are burned and the original tokens are released to the original chain.
