Feb 5th Q/A and Update Does the new team plan to

do a Mainnet launch with airdrops and incentives to bring in new people to the ecosystem?

No airdrops for new people. That usually brings in people with zero interest in the chain that are just after free stuff.

Will LGCY not have promotion other than the new dApps launching that promote their own dapps?

Chains like Ethereum burn a lot of gas (deflationary) from high dapp usage such as Uniswap. The more dapps get used, the more people use the chain by default. It’s the function of a chain and key to adoption.

Outside of this, we will start up AMA’s and twitter spaces again. We stopped doing this because groups were dead from the market but they have been showing life lately. If there’s a group you’d like to see us in, please tag a mod for suggestions.

2. Update on LRC -> ERC swap. Wen finally lgcy swap to erc20?

This proved a little more complicated while during the transition. We apologize for that. Please allow us a week at max to finish this distribution.

3. https://lgcy.network/ site is not working. I’m sure the team is aware of this, but adding it to the list in case the team can provide an update on when the site will be available again.

That has always been a placeholder. New websites are being made and transitioned to one site.

4. When can we expect to see Wes or justin in a New interview like on news2thestreet for example

We’re hoping to get one done this month after the transition. We’re long over due for that.

5. Why was a launch promised in December, but nothing happened? It was stated that if LGCY is not ready, launch will happen on another chain.

Yes, we were going to launch on another chain but got a lot of feedback in DM’s pleading to launch on LGCY first. We ultimately decided it was the right decision for LootUp. Due to recent legal clarity, we were also able to claw back LootUp into QUAN. We’re very excited to be able to put LootUp and LGCY on a public stage as QUAN progresses.

6. Estimated timeline going forward?

The fork/transition from old team to new are hoping to be completed this month.

7. Is there an actual plan for a launch to gain new users other than the same 200 people that have any knowledge of this project

Yes, we need to reach outside of our network and pull from more established communities. We have teamed up with new teams of developers, chains and marketers that will bring fresh faces and capital to our community.

This means we will be cleaning up the community and making it suitable for the next growth phase. (We will be banning Joonas and his alts).

Another strategy is that we are encouraging our community dapps to launch their initial tokens on larger networks to bring them over to LGCY.

Lastly, full disclosure: Amine of Elitweb3 has his LegacyOne:Battleverse dapp raise. There’s a group taking the whole sale but allowed us to allocate a portion for LGCY. Some from legends tg got in but we wanted to give the entire LGCY community an opportunity to participate.
