Guys, can someone briefly explain what is the benefit of

I'm not certain.. I was told they are transferable by design and I saw recently that the points have a market value, but I do not know if that market value is from a live trading market price or if it's theoretical. I do not have any liquid ETH, so unfortunately I'm not invested enough to have fully investigated 😞 but my assumption was the points were currently trading? Checkout app.whales.market

It is highly speculated that EigenLayer will do an airdrop. Either a TGE wherein points are converted to token, or in addition to points. Likely the former, imo. Aside from that, there are several protocols built on top of Eigen, like puffer finance and kelpDAO, that also offer restaking a form of staked eth for points/airdrop and extra yield. All that on top of the incoming pressure from Fraxtal on frxETH that should skyrocket the APR of sfrxETH... youre very likely looking at some pretty juicy yields on re-staked sfrxETH
