1. Will there be enough liquidity for swapping and trading crypto on lootup app?
LootUp is not an exchange but it does have a reserve built with a third party to go between a few cryptocurrencies and fiat.
2. Could you elaborate more on the legal clarity and why this is so important for LGCY USDL LOOT etc moving forward? This for people unfamiliar with the ripple case.
We’ve let centralized exchanges delist us because they were asking for an absurd amount of liability on our part to the point that it was obvious how much legal pressure they were under. We thought they would eventually start coming down hard on projects as well, so we wanted to stay as safe as possible for us and the community sake but after the ripple ruling, it was clear that the liability was on exchanges.
3. Wen any project live? If no date, just a month/year? Which will be the first focus? Lgcy, Loot, legacy one, nftmates, or casino?
These are all different teams and are working in parallel with each other.
4. What happened to Pendulum Finance? Liquid LGCY? Enosys? Are we still partners with them? What will be their role going forward?
Pend will be rebranded but still coming out. Liquid LGCY wasn’t our project. We’re going to be in contact with Enosys once the fork is finished.
5. Are there any plans to increase the team? CMO, CTO, Biz Dev., Regional Ambassadors, etc... (Difficult to run a project this magnitutde in a setup of founders + Outsourced development team)
The team has always been growing. The figureheads are just the doxxed team. We have a handful of teams working on marketing, community building, ect… it’s not one person doing one thing. Some are outsourced, some are partners, some temporary. Every project has a different team.
6. Any planned incentives to attract development on chain? (hackathons, Bounties, Develp. Grands)
Grants will be opening up again now that the market is improving. We will be helping to incubate new and old projects with a partner of ours. A handful of old projects have already reached out to us and we plan to either buy them out or help them continue their project.
QUAN had exciting news today about a good friend of mine, Jonathan Poyser joining the advisory board. He’s currently at Google helping with google pay. As QUAN intends to build on LGCY, we find it to be exciting news for LGCY as well.
I know you guys hate updates but we’re going to need another q/a for Monday. There is too much going on.
Some homework for the community, besides the obvious, what would you like to see LGCY doing more of? What kind of dapps would you like to see? What’s your favorite twitter spaces or crypto podcasts? We’ve made a list of our favorites but would like to see yours. There will be rewards for whoever responds to these with the best questions.
Clear Communication/Branding: - whats your vision? What are you trying to achieve? - what differs lgcy from other l1? - whats the competitive edge, improvement etc. - why should developers build on lgcy instead somewhere else? Examples from other chains: Solana -the fastest Icp - best tech., the only fully on chain Ethereum - the safest/ the biggest Atom - modular ecosystem Matic - cheap but still safe / best developer toolkit Cartsi - program with oldschool languages Tron - decentralized internet etc. Legacy - ??? ( your twitter just says 10k transactions per second, for cheap. Not sure if thats the vision people can get exited about this bullrun and beyond..) ---> Basically, define your self, refocus if neccessary and start communicating based on your own narrative. Communication in Channels: - frequent medium articles - frequent twitter posts - frequent interviews Educate about lgcy and your particular expertise within the crypto space, share articles, share statistics, share partner success, share pics from the office etc.... be alive, be transparent - Implement weekly/monthly video interviews with: - team members lgcy (talk about updates, challenges, future plans) - project members - (loot, lgcy one, quan etc.) Document everything on medium/twitter so people can see the history and inform them self. Transparancy builds trust. Its highly important that new devs and investors understand what legacy stands for, and what it has to offer. If you dont have time or ressources for it. - Get an intern, use chatGTP, involve the community for content develoment Example legacy one: - Only 2 posts on their twitter - A couple on the lgcy network, You mentioned a launch in march/April? Where is the build up? The articles about the crypto gaming industry? The interview with the devs? The insides in the development progress? The posts about the challenges? A video where you play vs wes and get rekt? --> Either i'm not getting it, or you guys missed a year of time to hype the shit out of the project pre-launch. Regarding dapps: ( Personally, i think the focus should be making lgcy the best and most user friendly chain to build on, and the dapps will come) - focus on a very good devolper toolkit - a stable chain performance - Support for the devs (Exposure, community, financial incentives)) But generally speaking, crypto was supposed to change the world, not? So why wasting time and your life on memes and online casinos? where's the fun in that? What makes you exited? What will excite others? ->There are many "hot" narratives atm: RWA/AI/Depin/desci etc.. Choose your poison To be honest, im not sure if i understood your question regarding the dapps. - You want to build them within your partner teams? (Ambitious, but planned development mostly lacks the drive and creativity of natural projects) - You want to try to convince existing teams to build on lgcy? (whats the incentive?) ------------- Anyways, i understand ressources are limited, and you guys are giving your best. Focus is very important. I worked 15 years on startups. Fucked up a bunch but also rocked some of them. Above are just some thoughts based on what is visible from the outside
Solana doesn't work like it should and codes are poor to build on top of it
Give this guy a job in the team 💪
See more of: Consistant posting, or medium articles even of old stuff to keep LGCY in front of everyone's eyes, especially as we move forward to this more exciting time. Make the posts/articles Marvel Movie style where each one tells a bigger picture of the ecosystem as a whole, so people get a sense of the potential of LGCY and what it could be. Paint the picture of the most decentralized blockchain in the world. 🔥💯🙌🎊🥳
- More of/ Medium Articles, really like the breakdowns/ evolution/ infographics - dApps/ would love to see a remittance dApp/s like XOOM/ REMITLY/ ect.. Such a huge Global market plagued with predatory fees, daily transactions would be massive - Fav Crypto Podcast: X @blocksunchained - Curious: For those of us who have zero intentions of ever selling Lgcy & will forever delegate, would an option be considered where we can lock-up for 12 months and earn Monthly / Max rewards every month (30 days) beginning with the 1st month, or will the current structure remain (3,6,9,12) where those of us who want Max, but also want the benefit of receiving monthly, will have to strategize a bit, split our allocation for 12 months & eventually catch the Monthly turnover..
