.. is that *I cannot even withdraw a couple of COTI* (from Viper) - how long will I need to wait to withdraw 2k COTI ?
How would you feel if you deposited $1Mil (as an example) into a bank and then the bank only allowed you to draw $43, and that would just about cover the service fees or maybe not even the minimum witdrawal amount.
Most of my COTI are locked away for 360 days. So I don't mind committing to the long term. I do mind however if I cannot even withdraw a cent over a 2 day period without any indication as to why and when .. ? Do I need to wait 3 days ? 5 ? 1 week ? 1 month ?
It would be nice to get some more clarity around this. If there's a max cap / day - then who is withdrawing that I cannot withdraw ? Can I at least put my withdrawal in a queue so that I don't need to come back every few hours and try again .. and maybe then one can make sure that its not always the same accounts withdrawing immediately when the bridge opens. Or drop the amount that can be withdrawn / account if high demand
For example 10k COTI over 2 days or 1 week - but try and even it out so that everyone that has an account can at least withdraw something
Besides me being annoyed by this at current - this does not look good for COTI and as an outsider this would paint a bad picture.
Crypto is meant to be better than this better than the current banking system
Until recently we had two exchanges that handled native COTI. HUOBI/HTX and KuCoin. With the recent withdrawal issues at HTX we are no longer recommending users to use that exchange. There is no limit for users withdrawing native from and to those exchanges. One of the reasons that COTI is moving to a L2 on Ethereum is exactly the issue you are misunderstanding right now. I has been extremely difficult to onboard exchanges to the native chain (ask Geordie). After years of seeing the appetite for users to hold ERC20 and bridging liquidity issues they’ve made the obvious choice for the network.
On a side note, aren’t you a Testnet operator? None of this should be news to you…
