Vesting rewards dont have a time limit or anything anymore

right? I'm 99% certain I had 80 odd kava unlocking 2 days ago, but only 4 kava rewards are showing on Mintscan? I didn't even 'claim' them in the app, they're just available in my wallet. There's no way to see what the previous unlock amounts were on Kava app though, there's no historical record. I've taken a screenshot now though to see what happens at the next unlock. I'm almost certain the same thing happened a fortnight ago too. I was expecting 30 or 40 kava, but just got cents 🤔

The most likely scenario is you have them staked still, so they have unlocked but part of your staked balance

So explain me some more. If I have the locked balance staked, then vesting rewards will go straight to staked with a validator? So if I unlocked total balance now, after 21 days some small portion of kava would be available to do as I like. The balance would show but still be locked?

Yes, some of your staked balance has been unlocked but as it's still staked you can't easily see the difference. To know how much you can check your total vesting either on Mintscan or in the kava web app (bottom of page)

If you are still claiming regularly now you should find that when you claim those newly earned vesting Kava will automatically switch places with non vesting staked tokens, which can bypass the need to unstake
