You could also add further metrics like the veFXS lock for FPIS will never unlock to FXS unless certain metrics are hit like X billion of FRAX supply, $X of FXS, or $X of total protocol revenue. So there's no dilution of FXS unless X conditions are hit. Lot of interesting possible things to consider.

I think you're missing the point of what I was saying, it would never be for any premium other than just veFXS utility (hence it would never unlock) unless ____ metrics are hit.

Why would fpis users stand to benefit that much if metrics are hit? If we hit amazing metrics that bonus should flow to current vefxs holders Not fpis converts who would take a huge chunk of the gain despite being a smaller part of the ecosystem

What about a sentiment vote if there should be a merge or not and if successful in a 2nd vote have some options regarding conversion rate combined with mentioned criteria

They wouldnt be FPIS holders, the vefxs from converted FPIS wouldnt never convert to unlockable amounts. They would be veFXS holders and potentially long time holders at that... we pick a number that is so crazy that it takes 10 years to get there

Would using protocol profits to purchase FXS on the open market and pay FPIS unlocks with that (in four years) at whatever ratio we agree on be on the table at all? That way FXS lockers benefit from positive price action and from not diluting supply as well, while still resulting in a FPIS>FXS conversion 👀

It benefits long term supporters who are long enough round to hold both FPIS users are FXS holders I still don’t believe there are many big FPIS holders who have no FXS

Diverting profits is way better than diluting over value. And this could be done at whatever ratio we want as well, such as 75% profits and only 25% towards paying FPIS unlocks in four years.

& this is not a good argument. This is like saying "well we're only diluting everyone after the airdrop so it's all good". Great way to write off new investors

Not really the only thing to consider is a realistic exchange rate there's no parameters you can add that would make a 1:1 exchange in which the palatable to FXS. A 1:1 exchange is clear money grab

With any luck Sam will say I've taken community feedback seriously × We will offer 50% on top of the 90 day average fpis price before the proposal × We will not dilute current fxs holders × The goal will be to burn these tokens before the 4 years is up
