Hey, @gregosuri , I was listening to this podcast today

and near the end you said you were thinking about offloading DA to another chain like Bitcoin Network, I wonder, is that still on the table?

I was looking at some of the DePins on Solana recently, even the ones in the compute category, they seem to inherit a lot of stuff from the underlying infra there, they get security, speed, they can use their tokens as incentives only and they also get access to a payment system ( Solana Pay ), there is native $USDC there, CCTP will soon be enabled and people will be able to bridge and you can also onboard to Solana from pretty much any exchange out there, so, their starting point, UX wise, is pretty far ahead of cosmos app chains

70% of the tokens are allocated towards incentives but a big portion of that goes as security budget as well which hinders growth to an extent ( not necessarily but all else being equal, it would have been better with 70% for incentives )

Are you still thinking in this direction, maybe with Solana, an L2 or a Celestia-based solution ( though these are very immature still infra wise )?

We’d like to offload security to a different chain when feasible, unfortunately we don’t have any decent options in the market yet that can offer sovereignty and security. Solana is still very unstable for Akash.
