I don't understand how to migrate my IOTA to Stardust.

My IOTA (bought back in 2017) is currently sitting in my Firefly wallet. I think I had it in an old Trinity wallet originally a while back. When I bring up the migration tool, it gives me 3 options..... (1) 81 character seed, (2) file backup, or (3) Ledger backup. I don't have Ledger, so option #3 is out. I have some "stronghold" backups, but for option #2 it is looking for a .kdbx file. I don't have one of those. Option #1 is an 81 character seed. I do have an old/original 81 character seed, but when plug it in, it comes up as having 0 balance. So.... what do I do now?
