same reason I don't post on Facebook. I'm more interested in engagement from like-minded individuals so we can clean up certain issues and advance quickly. I need the engagement more than ever because the time is short
I agree with your opinion. I hope to be more active in marketing with many collaborations, various projects, and sources that are well-received in the market.
Hive has a mechanism for that, the DHF. Tell about it to a good marketing professional if you happen to know one, and then put up a proposal to be funded by the DHF
Ofcourse, marketing is useful, but make sure the ones you attract via marketing don't get disappointed for couple of weeks of stay. A well made product with what most people need will naturally attract more users. Imagine if you have Hive filled with talented people posting stuff that actually solve millions of problems, others will share what they post allover the internet and offline, and people would want to join hive to follow such people for more contents. It should be reworked to attract talents and keep them on Hive. I actually attracted one in 2017 from Facebook (to a platform Hive forked away from) when I discovered back then she was talented poster. She did so well and her lifestyle changed from depending on others for money to renting a really nice room and helping others to succeed. She's probably on Hive today. Better to attract talented and passionate people who need reliable source on income to Hive. Passion rather than money should be a motivating factor, then rewards will come. And make sure they remain on Hive as long as possible, because seeing less talented people making lots of money money while they make nothing can easily discourage them. I wish the rewards of other people can be hidden for such people so that they can focus more on doing what they love/enjoy.
If you compare Hive with Facebook, then you do not understand. Study further. Posting here on Telegram is akin to posting on Facebook and yet you post here
This shortsightedness: comparing Hive to Facebook. Posting on the latter you give your content to Zuckerberg. On the former, you remain forever the owner of the content. Comparing Hive to Facebook is like saying "I don't do Bitcoin just like I don't use fiat currency "
