a privacy issue?
You could try asking the dero community
True. But it was just mentioned HERE and directly affects this community.
It was delisted for the same reason privacy coins are being delisted everywhere. Exchanges are trying to please surveillance states like the EU that believe they can spy on every activity their citizens participate in. In Dero's case it could be SEC concerns as well since they have a foundation, pre-mine and dev tax. Or maybe they just had a pre mine and no dev tax, I can't remember. Pirate doesn't have this issue since we we're fair launched in the same way bitcoin was, and they have already declared bitcoin is not a security. Same for Monero. It's not an SEC issue for us, it's KYC/AML concerns. They can't shut down pirate, but thhey can stop centralized entities from supporting it. This is why atomic swaps and Komodo Wallet are so important for Pirate.
Excellent answer. Appreciated.
If you're into Dero, they put on a conference in November in Phoenix called Nonsensus. Last year they invited us to give a presentation on Pirate there. They have invited us back this year. We're trying to get a good amount of Pirates to show up and make it a sort of joint pirate/dero conference. It's a fun event if you can make it to help rep pirate.
That sounds excellent Dan. Good to see support like this.
Make sure to grab yourself some before they get listed on CMC and CG https://gandoninu.com/
