Sir, i am still thinking distributuon of coti v2 tokens, i understand... but how about the original coti v1 coins that we are holding? Are they getting an automatic conversion to v2 ?

We intend to launch a dedicated campaign in which $COTI holders, both native and ERC20, will be allowed to swap their tokens in advance, receiving an additional reward of the new COTI V2 tokens upon launch of the COTI V2 mainnet. Once launched, the one-way migration from COTI V1 tokens to COTI V2 tokens will be done at a 1:1 ratio. Until the swapping phase is completed for users, merchants and apps - COTI will preserve both V1 and V2 mainets. This is roughly how it was done with the ETH2.0 merge. In any case it won’t be mandatory to participate in the campaign and people will be able to hold their COTI V1 native coins until COTI V2 mainnet is launched and then migrate to the new network using COTI Bridge.

If this works anything like Eth, as you state, it sounds like the V2 users would be locked in. It's interesting to note when talking about Ethereum and using it as an example that those who staked had to wait longer than just the Eth2/V2 launch and were unable to exit until ETH moved to proof of stake, a process that experienced significant delays, and even after proof of stake went live they still couldn't exit. For example, Eth allowed users to stake 32Eth from December 2020, and people could stake that until Eth2 launched. It was delayed but eventually launched on September 15, 2022. There was a problem, however. It transpired that the 32Eth was locked not just until September 2022 but also until the Shanghai upgrade, which wasn't live until April 2023. My point is that ETH may not be the best example here unless this way of doing it is the team's plan?. Could you please confirm the exit process for those moving to V2 when the dedicated campaign launches? This is a crucial detail that I believe many users would like to know. Can those taking part in the dedicated program be locked and affected by possible delays, or can they exit at any time? Or is the exiting only available to V1 users and not those taking part in the dedicated v1 to v2 program. Will that only be open to those who keep with V1?

1:1 sounds like fiat backed stablecoin. Hopefully the 1:1 doesn't become 1:0.99 because of fees.
