The actual assets on Kava chain are not changing. I believe the only change is that instead of bridging in and out via Binances BEP3 bridge to/from BEP2 (Binance Beason Chain) you will now instead bridge out to BSC (Binance Smart Chain) A government proposal would be required to change any incentives or collateral factors for those assets

got it. thanks. so just to be clear, the announcement talks about withdrawing kava chain assets to binance smart chain, can I assume that the reverse is true? bsc assets can be deposited to kava chain? (to mint usdx, etc..)

This information is related to the recent announcement about BEP3 depreciation. On April 24th, if you have BEP3 assets on the Kava chain, you must transfer them to the Binance Smart Chain instead of the Beacon chain if you need to move them off the Kava Cosmos chain. Detailed technical instructions will be provided as soon as possible. If you need to close your borrow positions or for any other reason you need to bridge Binance-pegged assets to the Kava app, you can bridge them to the Kava Cosmos chain from the Binance Smart Chain. The ideal route will be like this: Initial withdrawals to the BSC from Binance.com -> XRPB/BTCB/BNB (Binance Smart Chain) -> Kava-EVM -> Kava-Cosmos -> Kava Lend / Kava Mint / Kava app. Once again, detailed technical instructions will be provided as soon as possible. BUSD will eventually be sunset, and most of BUSD is already on the Kava chain.

You don't need to do anything, unless you wish to move your BTC off of Kava chain between 15th April and 24th April That BTC can remain in Kava Mint earning a yield, the changes only effect the chain you withdraw back to should you wish to move it out from Kava chain in the future
