Why is the apy getting higher? Is it really 17%?

It's not a surprise everyone. This is intentional as per proposal 240 and 241. Inflation will cap at 20% and APY slightly higher as a result of the staking ratio. The intention is to top up the community pool for investment in strategic places to help kickstart visibility and adoption. Anyone who has staked more than 55% of their holdings is also winning. It's just a proposal away from adapting it back down afterwards.
