I arrived here after a Chico Crypto show highlighted the

project & the Team - the fact that the Team had a long history of successfully working with household names gave me encouragement that they have a commercial sense of reality

At that time the Cona project was happening and there was a lot of communication the community felt enrolled, it was a very exciting time & big things felt possible.

I still believe the Team are capable of big things
a lot has been built
I don’t see certain things not happening as being fatal

Its disappointing that communication is an issue
clearly the community wants more engagement - we love hearing from the team - it builds community

Where are we at - UBC appears dead
dead in so much as, the Team passed on the Torch for others to run with - if the Industrious node is Jailed, thats our answer

The S1seven digital passport is a great idea / product - unfortunately they already have had their own chain for several years, it appears they have no ambition to adopt BaseLedger

other companies have Digital passports perhaps in the future one of those may want to embrace UBC or another use case will appear and UBC will be resurrected

Perhaps the Team will see an opportunity in providing workshops on SAP for example: as a means to gain adoption for UBC or UBone

UBone - where are with that ?
last I read on Twitter last November API work was completed & a visual interface was being developed

As I recall UBone was launched circa March 30th 2023
March 30th this year was a perfect opportunity for the Team to share an update on development & vision

Is Tokenisation of RWA still a thing ?
it was discussed as a possible feature for UBone V1

Currently there is no date for a release of UB-1v2
Unfortunately there is no actual evidence of UBOnes popularity, sadly there’s no TXs on BaseLedger - so whilst it may be a massive success with non BaseLedger users there’s actually no shareable evidence of that

The Newly announced FairlyTrained solution is from the few details we currently have - a perfect fit

It uses tech the team have mostly already created Trustmesh, BaseLedger & tools already within the Teams areas of expertise

At this point - almost 4 months in - we don’t know

Is it a white label solution FT are buying from UB ?
Is it a joint project where UB are developing the Solution & FT will handle the sales, marketing ( can they even do this as a charity) ?
Is FT forming a new entity to manage this opportunity ?
Is there a combined new entity being formed to shop this opportunity to VCs ?

As ever some elements maybe commercially sensitive
but in the normal course of business it’s usual for “partners” to say something - unfortunately to date Ed hasn’t said a single word, nothing, no mention of UB whatsoever …

A simple “I’ve had some interesting conversations with the guys at UB” would have been sufficient -

Was there a reason the decision was made not to lock in a joint press release - before committing company resources ?

This is of course a communications decision that has an effect on community relations (and the P word that rhymes with rice)

So, back to overall communications - perhaps there’s never gonna be a perfect balance - currently the community manager Jack isn’t given sufficient resources to do his job

Often the ground swell in the community reaches a point were people have to shout to be heard it often feels like that’s the only way to get engagement - I understand the Team have their views

Delegating more information for the Community Manager to share on a more frequent basis- might be a workable solution for everyone

Anyway I’m still very excited for UniBrights future

I’m especially excited to hear about an elegant web3 solution to the AI ethically sourced data problem whether that involves FT or not - it’s clearly the perfect vehicle to showcase the Teams world beating tech & vision 🥂
