When you supply or borrow an asset on Venus, your interest autocompounds and it's paid per block
https://docs-v4.venus.io/risk/interest-rate-model
I don't have to pay a transaction every time the interest is paid to me?
Nono, it is done automatically thought our vTokens, interest is added to your balance by each block (every 3 seconds on BNB Chain)
Can you explain to me what this is that I have to claim? Do I have to pay for a transaction?
Interest consists of base APY (paid by borrowers), distribution APY (XVS emissions), Initiative rewards (distributed in specific token) and Prime APY (paid to Prime users on specific markets in the same token) all rewards excluded base you have to claim.
and yes when you claim these rewards you have to pay gas fee.
Is there any place where I can see the apy they pay me? a history?
Kinda. On app.venus.io, Navigate to the pool of interest, click on the asset you wish to view its APY history and you'll see the stats for that particular asset including the APY history..
because it says 9.7% and in the graph 4.58%
Does the apy vary a lot every day?
Check the date 😉 graph shows you yesterday's APY.
It depends on demand, from the graph you can see the range.
What is the difference between core and isolated pools? core is more secure, or are both equally secure?
Actually, both are secure. The major difference between both pool is liquidity. The Isolated Pool is for less liquid asset
