I have a noob hex question. The amount of yield in

HEX adapts to the amount of staking vs time right?

Lets say time is a constant here.
Everyone will stake for 1year only.

And there are 1000 HEX staked by 1000 people for 1 year.
And they yielding 10%/year.

IF 500 people unstaked 500 HEX, the yield in % (percentage of HEX) for the others 500 that remained staked will increase right?

In summary the yield is adaptable to the amount staked ?

This is old but gives an idea of how it works vs % supply

This is what I dont get. If the yield is 9.21%/year at the moment, it means 40% of TOTAL SUPPLY is staked? It does not match

the yield varies, it's closer to 30% for a 3641+ days long stake only ~10% of total supply is staked

The OA holds a large benevolent amount of supply and doesn't stake so it leaves more yield for stakers to collect and more yield over longer pays better stakes. The Sacrifice also changed the ratios in favour of the stakers on the eth side I think. As its unlikely any of the hex sacced will resurface as staked

Yes, the less staked, the higher the yield. For more details: Hexicans.info/hexonomics
