Litecoin works the same way as bitcoin, since it is a PoW crypto (proof of work). But with the MWEB update that came in 2022 for litecoin, now litecoin has top level privacy and fungibility. Imagine it as Monero with the MWEB, maybe even more private and anonymous.

Nope, binance and all the other exchanges don't allow the use of the MWEB for that reason 😂. They want to track you, not to make you completely anonymous. So you don't need KYC verification to use mweb, not even litecoin actually
