using MM, did they introduce transaction cancelling if gwei is set too low? Any way to turn that off?
Rabby is good man
is this yet another gatekept product? when searching across multiple platforms it seems to be MM, TrustWallet, Phantom, Edge etc
Some sites make money when you lose money. They profit from you switching positions and coins over and over. Some profit from advertising you things that will get you rekt. Your job is to notice, that in crypto, "some" actually means "most." (This means ranking sites and margin trading sites. The only good thing is fiat onramp exchanges, they're necessary.)
No man,... I wouldnt say gate kept at all. Just some people dont like chamge or an easier life. But rabby is a bit of a game changer if you like a ux for your wallet

Tobi S (7) has increased reputation of Spanking good hex (188)
I do find adding addresses, contacts, etc a bit clumsy though
Easy once you know though
I wouldnt say it is to be honest. I think mm had a better layout. . But in all fairness... Ive not touched either for atleast a few months. Aurox wallet is dog shit.... Dont go there.
What do we know about the people who created Rabby? Are they solid dudes with good reputations?
I know nothing about the creators What can they do apart from offer a sweet UI?
I don't know much about the Rabby program. Aside from the UI, I was hoping they coded the thing themselves, from the ground up.
Rumor has it it’s chinese. I checked it says they are based in Singapore. So depends if u still using tiktok or u don’t. Lol
Right. That's what I'm doing.
lol, it would be much saner to build on proven, battle-tested libraries. We don't know much about those behind it apart from the Chinese rumors, and their association with DeBank — one of the most useful services. Unlike with Metamask, which we know is owned by Consensys and in turn JP Morgan, both known to be fully on board with the WEF, as well as practicing and promoting Anti-DeFi behaviors (excessive logging of personal info, data mining, dumping ETH, not applying timely updates, etc)... We have no reason to believe that the Rabby guys are involved with any of that crap. We know they have a working product that adheres to the necessary standards and works well, as well as having a better UI,
I'm still hoping that one day we get the "RH wallet". As for the excessive data logging, isn't coinbase pretty much the privacy killer? You have to buy in using your bank account. Easy to follow that to all your purchases, and then all down the blockchain, even if you move your coins off coinbase. Granted if you sent them from one wallet to another, they could never prove you were the owner of the 2nd wallet. But what do you tell them if they come asking? Would you say "Im embarrassed to admit this, but I got scammed"?
Not just Coinbase, but nearly all reputable CEX's that have to comply with regulations in their jurisdiction, - but that's always been the case. The issue with MM doing it is direct timestamped logging logging of all your addresses in MM to your IP, location, and dozens of other methods, every time you unlock MM. Governments kill people based on Metadata, and if you want a reasonably accessible explanation of how just one piece of data can be used to reveal mor than you'd imagine, please read this article - if you can get over the writing style, and follow along it's quite enlightening... and eye opening when you think about what's going on these days.
So 100% safety = Monero bought with cash? And it never touches anything except other default monero wallets? Anyway I bet the spies really hate mixers. I will read the article now.
Buy monero with cash by mail using TOR with Javascript specifically disabled via about:config from a vendor using PGP to send their address to you + pay for shipping the package with cash
"100% safe" needs you to define "from what", and has strong dependence on the rest of your security posture — everything vaguely pertinent that came before, as well as after.
