and you leave it on for longer than 1 day, will the holoport be used by the team for test purposes?

Better to have holoport or pc on than off. Computers are supposed to be used. Not stored for long times. It can cause problems.

Yes. If I have a HoloPort registered to the network, whether it’s in alpha or not, I would keep it on. But I also understand people who don’t want to pay about 5 euros a month in electricity to keep it running. As I said, if you’re not in alpha you don’t have to keep it online. It’s your discretion. It depends on your view of the facts 🤷

Reason why they keep servers on always to avoid hdd failure. Pc and holoport has the same risk as servers.

As far as I know the tests are done in the alpha program HPs. But leaving your HP on (at your discretion and not required at this time if you are not in the program) can give the TEAM (if they want to see) an overview of all online and registered HPs, regardless of your console version. I tell you what. Since I've had my HP it has always been on, even before the alpha program. In the end it's not a big monthly electricity expense and it seemed like a way to collaborate, for whatever it takes 🙏
