his take is recently?anyone hear
I got the impression he always hated ARRR.
Hey Lucas. He doesn’t hate ARRR, he even owns some. From a technical analysis standpoint, he looked at the chart and said last year that Pirate hadn’t found a bottom yet. He was 100% right. Going forward, there’s no fundamental reason to be bearish on ARRR now. He doesn’t expect it’ll ever make a new high against BTC, but it could revisit its old highs in dollar terms. Even if we “only” reach the 2-5$ range this cycle, most people buying around here will be quite happy. The Crypto Vigilante guys who some in here love to hate still praise Pirate. Jeff, Rafael, Mr. X, Mr. Z… nothing has changed. The market just isn’t interested in privacy coins at the moment. People love to buy memes with zero fundamental value because they’re liquid, easy to store, buy and sell, and they pump. Take a look at Fartcoin. The chart looks vastly superior and it already has a market cap 3x higher than Pirate’s despite only being around for a few weeks. Will it be around next cycle, or will it vanish like a fart in the wind? All of this is gambling and speculation. Pirate is an ambitious project that is built for the long term. Most of the core crew is still around as far as I can tell, and many more have joined. Kaks is still here every day helping people with technical issues (Fake Kaks is still around too trying to steal your ARRR because he also knows how valuable it’ll become - beware!). Forge, Kosius, Crypto Rich, Lootz, Artto, and so many others… They’re the main reason why Pirate will rise again, it’s only a question of time. Let’s be thankful for the opportunity to accumulate more cheap ARRR. 🏴☠️❤️
I appreciate your positivity but realistically he talked ARRR down in the TCV chat for the entire time from when he joined the team. Regardless of "the technicals" people like him need to appreciate the impact their comments can have on a small project with a captive audience of 4k subscribers.
And he was right wasn’t he? I wasn’t comfortable with someone fudding my bags at the time either, but when I saw that everything was playing out the way he said, instead of getting angry, I paid to join his group. We learn from those who are better than us, and he’s certainly better with timing. Improving timing means being able to accumulate larger bags for projects you like. A man’s opinion shouldn’t make or break a project anyway. If it does, that project wasn’t meant to survive. I don’t think anyone’s opinion matters to Pirate in the long run as long as the core team keeps working hard. The blame game will taper as price eventually recovers, even if it’s hard for some to imagine now. Just take the opportunity to buy at these levels with money you can afford to lose.
I'm invested in another project that has hit market cap of nearly $30m with less than 700 holders. If you think an individual with 4k (mostly noob) subscribers can't influence the price of a project like pirate chain I don't know what else to tell you.
I didn’t say his opinion didn’t influence the price. I’m saying it’s irrelevant long term for Pirate. In fact, the constant negative comments by some in here these last two years, blaming everyone and their dog for the price action, has influenced it much more.
Fartcoin.....insane story....
