what projects are u guys doing together?

And most of them are in the DeCC alliance. We’re doing a lot of joing communication efforts together. The aim is to have an established category for DeCC. More on iExec’s role in DeCC, and the DeCC Alliance: DeCC is a movement with diverse value propositions, offering the ecosystem a deeper understanding of privacy in Web3. It’s a transformative approach to secure data usage in Web3, offering privacy, user control, and decentralized security. Before, blockchain technology has been synonymous with transparency, where data is instantly visible to all. This poses challenges for applications that require sensitive data handling. DeCC advocates for the narrative of leveraging decentralized networks to protect data in use: Data protection in use: Built on trusted hardware like TEEs, ensuring that data remains secure even during processing. Zero trust philosophy: Trust no one—DeCC is designed to operate under the assumption that no single entity is trustworthy. No Central Authority: No need for a central authority; decentralized nodes can attest and verify each other. The DeCC Alliance (a coalition of projects using DeCC related tech): The DeCC Alliance is a coalition of over 30 blockchain networks promoting Decentralized Confidential Computing (DeCC), a technology that combines blockchain transparency with confidential computing. DeCC integrates a range of advanced encryption technologies such as Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) (what iExec tech is based on), as used by iExec, Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Garbled Circuits (GC), and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to ensure secure, confidential, and verifiable computing. The term DeCC was created after looking for a solution to distinguish DeCC projects with “privacy coins” like Monero or Zcash (not DeCC) which focus on transactional privacy, DeCC on the other hand enables secure, encrypted data processing and confidential smart contract execution on decentralized networks. Founded at ETHDenver in 2024 the Alliance aims to drive mainstream adoption of DeCC by raising awareness through education and events, making blockchain suitable for business and enterprise use. Members include iExec, Secret Network, Aleo, and others. iExec’s Role in DeCC iExec is a leading innovator in Decentralized Confidential Computing (DeCC), combining blockchain for attestation and governance with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) for hardware-based encryption that protects data during processing. Since 2018, iExec has been at the forefront of enabling secure, confidential data processing without exposing sensitive information, ensuring users maintain full control over their data while leveraging blockchain for decentralized, verifiable executions. By leveraging TEEs, iExec ensures that data remains fully protected while in use, giving users complete control over their data. developing privacy-focused Web3 solutions. making iExec a key player in the DeCC narrative.
