person said (it’s clear they don’t understand the scope of what TF and TELOSX are achieving), but I’ll put it simply for those who might not yet fully see it:
1. When I discovered TELOS a year ago, our brand awareness was low. Today, more real and organic voices are talking about TELOS, discussing our potential, the use cases we’re building, and especially how we’re becoming game-changers in zero-knowledge (ZK), a field that’s set to make our industry mainstream in the coming years. This is clear. Denying it would be unfair. The organic work done by our entire community, alongside the initiatives led by Raul’s team, is significant. People may agree or disagree, but the growth in community and engagement has been real.
2. On the importance of securing regulatory licenses before launching a product: Some might see John’s comments about licenses in the UK and other countries as a “who cares?” moment. But it should matter to everyone. Why? Every major exchange has made mistakes here, leading to fines that have impacted their liquidity and reputation, and even resulting in executives being jailed. TELOSx is aiming to be a 100% compliant global exchange, with on-ramps to facilitate adoption and the use of $TLOS as a trading pair. As a lawyer who’s worked in crypto for seven years, I can assure you that not even the largest exchanges started with this approach. They stumbled and lost a lot along the way. Some people might not fully grasp the magnitude of TELOS’s approach and how beneficial this will be in terms of compliance, adoption, and reputation. Personally, I prefer that the foundation continues with CONCISE, real, legal, and safe deliveries rather than making rookie mistakes. John and the team are not rookies—these are people who have built some of the largest companies in crypto that millions use today. Ask questions if you need to, but don’t act from a lack of understanding or disrespect. You’re not hurting one person; you’re attempting to harm the project.
3. On reaching 100k users: John clarified they’re talking about sign-ups, but for context, because maybe you’ve never built a crypto product like an exchange or a wallet—if TELOS opens operations with on-ramps in multiple countries, licenses, and products that solve real problems like cross-border payments, staking, and trading, I promise this number isn’t ambitious or unrealistic. And I think you might not realize that this comes with Binance’s infrastructure and liquidity. No one has done anything like this before. (And just to clarify, I’ve built several products that reached almost 1 million users in a year and a half—without major licenses, on-ramps, good fees, or a team as strong as TF’s.) Let’s keep building together, and from TELOS en Español, we stand with @LilicJohn! Seguimos 👍🏻
