It says that there's a virus and blocks it right away
I assume you mean you are experiencing an issue when you go to go.hex.com and try to download the windows file. You can just click on the pinata link to go to the staking page. Or, scroll further down to see other 3rd party frontends to use for staking.
go.hex.com is now more decentralized and offers IPFS links & community created versions of the staking interface as well as a downloadable HEX Server to run the website yourself. Follow the instructions on go.hex.com or watch the video guides below. Note: Users may get security warnings when accessing these IPFS sites, which is normal. HEX can't be turned off. There are numerous independently maintained HEX frontends: Ethereum network: go.hex.com (on IPFS) | app.icosa.pro | hexscout.com | go.tshare.app | apphex.win | backuphex.com | hexmob.win | hexcrypto.com | etherscan.io Pulsechain network: go.hex.com (on IPFS) | app.icosa.pro | hexscout.com | apphex.win | hexmob.win | hexcrypto.com | go.tshare.app | backuphex.com For more details see hexicans.info/hex-smart-contract
I understand that, but why exe file shows that it has a virus?
Idk. Will need one of the techy guys to check it. Could just be Windows giving you a generic warning against downloading a .exe file.
I had this issue since 1.04 version came out. Thanks

Is there even a reason for which you want to run the frontend on your local machine?
In my opinion it is safer. But that's my thought
False positive. Just open the IPFS link if you are not sure or use an alternative front end

The frontends on IPFS protocol are the same content and are immutable due to IPFS. Besides, frontends are only as safe as your safety practice is good. For example, if you always carefully read the message before signing it, no hacked frontend can scam you.
What type of virus
Its a phishing website where your identity can be seen. Use a VPN
