Hey team! So happy to be an early adopter of

this ridiculously undervalued project, though admittedly I didn't bag up as much as I should have back at 10c lol.. oh well my plan is now DCA & also yield on Beefy Finance...

Anyway I would love to test out the testnet but I can't connect to Metamask, I suspect there's a conflict with Mathwallet which I normally use as my multichain cos it syncs better with mobile.

But even with mathwallet ext turned off in settings, Metamask ext doesn't pop up for me to connect to EVM.

Does anyone know the RPC info so I can set up a custom network as I would with all other networks? I've tried via chainlist & it doesn't work either.. is there any work arounds besides removing mathwallet ext & then reinstalling it again later?

Just go to demo.telos.finance with Metamask open (unlocked) and it will automagically set the correct network settings for you!

There is a connect via metamask button that should load the rpc info

Did you try enabling metamask in an incog window? I use it on brave just fine.

Hmmm. Does your Metamask work on other sites? This works for me and most others effortlessly. I've used Brave and Chrome without incident. Have you tried restarting your computer with only Anchor, not Math Walllet running? Maybe you have some conflicts.

Hey bro do you know why the Testnet RPC info link presents an error when I add it into the RPC info in Metamask, & why it comes up with a 404 error when I search it in the browser? Btw props to having MF Doom as your TG handle haha! What an absolute legend he was! RIP

why demo network, it doesn't make a serious impression, maybe it was better to make an canary network like others with free airdrop to holders and in canary network make testcthings , is't it better? 🤔

It's a demo that exists on the Telos testnet where our EVM is being tested and demonstrated as we await the roll out on mainnet. The value of the demo is that people can see the extreme speed and low cost of Telos EVM transactions in a format they are familiar with -- a Pancakeswap clone. From what I keep hearing from users, this demo is extremely impressive. We can tell people all day long how fast and cheap Telos EVM is but nothing has the same impact as actually doing DeFi transactions like you would on Ethereum, BSC, etc and have them execute instantly, without a hitch and at a tiny fraction of other chains.

Have you tried it out and compared it to other AMMs? That might change your mind.

I think there's no plan of removing the ERC20 Telos. I would like to know what your main concern is.

I mean if someone moving his/her token from bep20 network to erc20 won't get airdrops ,?

I appreciate that. Welcome and thanks for sharing your thoughts. We are just in the homestretch now for mainnet so no point changing this particular thing now but I hope you'll keep contributing your opinions to future decisions.

Oh I got your point. Thank you for setting things clear to me now. To have an airdrop, you need to have participated in the two rounds of Telos airdrops we just had recently (and we still have another one ongoing now from our amazing block producer. Will share this one in a few) You won't have airdrop regardless if you kept your tokens as a BEP20 ERC20 or even the native. You should've participated.
