and I wanna stake, if i trasfer my erc20 tokens into mainnet tokens and stake on INJ, are my staked tokens on my ledger at this point?
Hey Chris, The tokens will be on Injective chain not on ledger, as we are transferring them through our peggy bridge to our injective chain.
So to access my INJ wallet once my coins are on mainchain, would I use my ledger to gain access to them? Or if not, how does that work
Hey, Please find the staking guide for the detailed information. https://blog.injectiveprotocol.com/injective-hub-guide/
I read this, but it is not clear, once bridged over, how do I access my INJ wallet?
Once the ledger is connected and the tokens are transferred to the native chain, you may check the tokens available in the Injective wallet on Dashboard.
But do I need to write down a key phrase and such?
Like once they are no longer ERC20 tokens, and theyre on mainnet, how would I go about getting my tokens? What wallet do I use?
Nope, Using the Peggy bridge, you have to transfer back them as Erc-20 and withdraw.
So the INJ knows what staked tokens belong to me because they were original trasnfered from that ETH wallet on metamask or ledger, is that right?
Yes, you are correct.
I got you, so you must use same ETH wallet to get your staked tokens, can't be any other wallet address
You need to use the same wallet address.
Thanks!
Welcome 😀
