firmware, made sure contracts are allowed, the Ledger connects to Metamask, but when I try to "Approve" the validator contract, I keep getting an error message that mentions going to metamask.github.io and entering my security key.. Looks like many people online have had the same problem, but can't find any resolutions. Can someone PLEASE help me out? Been trying this for a couple of days and out of ideas
Is your Ledger firmware updated?
This might help. Just in case if anyone else experiencing issues with Ledger then here are the instructions. Connecting Ledger to Metamask: few things to keep in mind prior to NOIA token contract approval - - * Download the latest ledger live instance and also, make sure ledger firmware (actual physical hardware device) is up to date. * Turn ON 'Ledger Live' under Metamask Settings -> Advanced * Launch Ledger Live App * Plug in your ledger device and select ETH app * On the ledger device - Go to Ethereum app -> Settings -> Enable the following Contract data Nonce Debug That's it. You should be good.
Try well all point, @SlenderCrypto has reason. For example Ledger Live App has an update from 15 Sep
I was able to update the Ledger Live firmware. It seems that my device firmware is up to date, but can;t even find where to upgrade it. I have had only 20-30 mins to get this done, and I keep having to abandon it
