I want to use the Anchor wallet, but I don’t

know how to set up an Anchor wallet account. After I install the Anchor wallet, go to account settings. It first lets me choose a blockchain, I choose the TELOS blockchain, and then it lets me Enter the private key. For security reasons, I don’t know if I should enter the private key?

You should Otherwise you can't use it

You’re to enter your private key if you already have a Telos account. Or you could sign up here if you don’t https://www.telos.net/signup

Anchor is developed by Greymass @jestagram who is a BP too. So I'm sure it's completely safe.

Anchor wallet does not seem to need to be registered. Just set a password to enter the wallet and then import the private key of the blockchain account used? Is that right?

Ahh I get you now, yes as Khushal says you have to enter the private key to import your account, this is how it works. Anchor is very trustworthy and I've personally used it for years. It used to be called eos-voter and the Sqrl wallet was forked from it, is got a great reputation and is open source.

I'll update the instructions, although they are still valid
