I’ve just read the new documentation released.. one thing I’m

still a little unclear on.. will the staking rewards be paid out in RSR, R token or other crypto, or does it depend on the basket you are staked in?

Hey buddy, From what I recall, rewards will be paid out in RSR, which will be bought off the market, creating another stream of organic demand for the RSR token. I'm sure the Mod Squad will be here to correct me if I'm wrong. 🤓

Morning, thanks for reply.. That’s kind of how I read it as well.. but on one of the earlier videos I watched it looked more like the payout moght be in R token.. but may be wrong..

Hello Peter - the initial RToken revenue will always be generated in the RToken itself. However, we have decided that for version 1 of the protocol, we will let the protocol swap that RToken on a DEX for RSR - meaning that the RSR staker will be rewarded in RSR, at least in the initial version. We do think it makes sense to give the RSR staker the option to either receive the RToken or RSR, so this will probably be added in a future version of th e protocol.
