Is there a document about the mechanism of the upcoming

„user generated baskets“? I mean: Everyone will be able to create a basket and define its components? How does this basket find adoption afterwards? 🤔

I see. Thank you. 🙏 Without mentioning their names: Are there competitors in this sector of „user-generated-stablecoins“? This looks like a quite unique approach.

Not that I have seen. There are of course however others that are also trying to create asset-backed stablecoins - often with slightly different approaches to Reserve. One thing that sets apart Reserve from those competitors is that we chose to be where not many others choose to. As you might know, regulations in Latin America are very strict, and many companies just don't want to deal with that.

The way I see it Daffy, is that it's simply RSV or the yield-bearing coin now, but they're baking future-proofing into the platform now rather than needing to build on top of it ~18 months from now

@dffdck just to clarify, last I heard there won't be support for all RTokens in the app initially, just RSV and the new DeFi-cash stablecoin. But the long term goal is to allow users the choice of which RTokens they want to use (meaning we allow them to choose between all or the most popular RTokens). This, however, hasn't been thought out yet.

It depends on the purpose of that user-created stablecoin. If the majority of people believe that that stablecoin is superior compared to Reserve-created stablecoins, then they will simply start using it - either through the Reserve app (we intend to allow users in the app to choose which stablecoin they wish to transact in) or through exchanges. If the stablecoin gets created as, for example, a branded stablecoin for a fintech wallet or exchange, then the company that creates it will allow it to be used in their app and promote benefits for using it. Keep in mind that this is a secondary use-case; I personally don't see this case happening until Reserve becomes more widely known.
