BM planing to take over the eosio dev from b1.

Any thoughts to give his team funding?

the foundation has taking over eosio dev on its roadmap but seems excluseively eos focused. I hope they open up, work with telos foundation, get wax and ultra etc involved too. But it would be ace. all these chains share the same dev resource pool

No he's not. He just hates it that he's no longer seen as the savior of EOS and he decided to make some noise. In a few months he will grow bored again and move on to some other opportunity for the adulation he craves and nothing will have been accomplished for the eosio community. (again)

could be true but he has put a great team together...

He has managed to put together a lot of great teams in the past but they always blow up in the end because Dan is incapable of incorporating anyone else's ideas into his own unless he can somehow take total credit for them. Compare that with Telos. Dan is no doubt far smarter than I am in many ways. But here, I am often outvoted, or persuaded of better approaches and I like to shine a light on the contributions of others, which gives other brilliant and hard working people a reason to stick around. Everyone deserves credit. That's also why I never took a role on the TF so that other leaders could step up and thrive without me or anyone else in a position to usurp the credit they rightly deserved. Because of this, we not only attract an incredible team, but give them a reason to stick around and give others inspiration to join as well. Dan could never create a community where every single person was considered a founder.

I think I agree with you. Everyone has good and bad qualities and you have to take all of them. Dan is exceptional is some ways and for sure flawed in others like you say. The challenge for the community is to find the right place for everyone and also ways for them to improve individually. I really believe telos has that dimension to the point that it could handle a Dan

I have invited him to engage here countless times. So have others. When he came back with his eden ideas I was in a small group he joined and tried to tell him about Decide and give him an early look at Decide Voter. But the second anything beyond his own ideas came up he checked out.

Respect your view. Let's see what will happen. I still believe Dan. I have telos and eos in my bag.

Yeah, I don’t think Dan is entirely focused on development anymore… he likes to see his ideas come to fruition and to promote his book. But his team is very capable and I highly respect some of the devs there,
