Why is it called HEX i.e. a curse? Add to that the logo with 3 hexagons i.e. 666 it raises eyebrows.

I'm on the cusp of investing in HEX but I'm not the only women I know who's first response was 'Why is it called hex??'

HEX is 6 from Greek, which actually comes from Richard's book on 6 crucial life topics. Also, in Germanic languages Hex means "magic" (often mistranslated as spell or curse). And 666 is a meme number, so it is attractive to meme seekers. Also, as you noticed, it acts as a pumpamental as it detracts people from buying immediately, thus having them buy at a higher price. Kind of like the "Bitcoin is a scam" pumpamental that provided buyers at any level. In short, every little detail in HEX is a pumpamental for "magic internet money".

I’ve looked into this and it’s all linked to numerology - 369, Fibonacci etc. It’s etymology is protogermanic if I remember correctly.

Yes - it was Tesla who said if you know the secret of 369, you will unlock the secret everything. 369 is used everywhere. And 666 isn’t a bad number - just like 13 isn’t unlucky. We’re meant to have 13 months a year! And a Friday 13th every month.
