market value of the collected fee ? If the highest bid is closer than the market value of the fee then is it not simpler to just sel the basket at market fee and buy back inj … sorry if this sound noobish to you … just asking out of curiosity..
This can be an upgrade to the Auction module, yeah. There are options that can be explored further, this is just the foundation. The goal is/will be to burn the 60% of the fees.
Another noob question …. If the network is able to generate trading fee in millions , would it not be difficult for single bidder to match the size of the basket ?
its not a noob question
The community can evolve the exact process
Thats fud. Inj will collect fees in 10s of millions each auction once volume picks up. There is bunch of big funds that will be willing to participate in this. Human greed is wonder
😂i hope you are correct as we all stand to gain from that scenario ..
It isn't fud. It is a good question.
By having an auction you amplify the beneficial price impact on INJ as you will have multiple entities buying INJ and bidding for the fees even though only a single entity will win. It also helps prevent front running the subsequent purchase of inj compared to if it was just done at a set time every 2 weeks by automatically selling the fees and market buying inj. It will encourage bidders to accumulate INJ throughout the 2 week period, buying any dips to be used for an auction later on rather than lots of different entities trying to buy lots just before the auction ends.
Is it a closed auction? Or will bidders he able to see other’s bids and bid accordingly?
