Actually, we raised the prices at the beginning because we see a ton of spam on EVMs that are too cheap. So a regular token transfer will be 1 cent and a basic swap is about 3 cents. A complex swap could be up to 7 cents in the current model. But we have retained some pricing power so they don't have to scale up linearly as the TLOS price rises.

We saw a lot of EVMs lately with very low tx prices inviting ddos attacks. We don't want to start off that way. Another platform just increased their tx price 30x overnight because if this. So we are being cautious in the beginning to leave ourselves some room to drop the price.

It wasn't because of the ddos :)) in polygon the vc set the fees, so was done to pump the token. Kinda expected that from polygon

Oh really? I had read that they were getting hit with lots of free spam txs, which is logical. Similar to Solana's crash. We basically don't want to invite attacks just as we are starting. I also think there's more long term value in the users understanding that fees & token price don't have to scale linearly.
