of lgcy in relation to this mention of the competitor? And why doesn't lgcy have the same power of transactions per second to win in this regard as its peers? blockchain Solana and therefore can benefit from the network's transactional throughput that supports an extremely high level of 50,000 TPS (transaction per second). Solana is touted as one of the fastest, most secure and most censorship-resistant blockchain networks, providing an open infrastructure from which decentralized applications can be built. Solana also features affordable transaction fees averaging around $0.00025 per transaction. Is there any comparison made by the team that shows the pros and cons with other networks?
Solana is deeply centralized and speculated to be operating at a loss in order to support its network. A prime example was its failure to scale when it suffered a denial of service and it had to reboot the network. Lgcy aims to be inherently more decentralized. The cost of that compromise is higher gas fees, but that’s relative because it’s still a miserable penny.
A node needs like 1M+ solana staked to be profitable from what I read due to the fees they pay for the outgoing transactions, so the solana foundation offers them a compensation if "they approve that node"
And yet it’s ~$75b MC. Ridiculous.
We will have our solana moment yet
