I'M not the brightest tool in the shed, but if

Brock bought all those tokens off B1, what is the net positive here? If he wanted to help EOS why was it done this way as opposed to any other way? He could have used his own BTC to further EOS. He could have bought EOS off the open market. Why was buying B1's tokens the route he took?

Exactly. That's one question.

Maybe he swapped his remaining B1 shares against EOS token, which would explain his comment on breaking the chains and be free from B1.

Need to remove B1 from the equation to have a chance. They have lost talent and focus on EOS/IO. No VCs would touch an EOS project, answer was always “if b1 won’t invest why should we”, without the same chances for capital allocation, projects either migrated or died. It’s been a long road to here. Hopefully the next stretch will be fun and rewarding for those who show up.

That’s the argument I’ve made publicly since the end of 2018. If Brock isn’t a B1 shareholder and was removed from B1, what was his risk exactly? This all looks like a well orchestrated plan to skirt regulatory risks the more you look at it. Fake virtue. It’s just business.

There is also hibernation mode, which a lot of projects have done. This could be the spring these wintering projects have been waiting for, we'll soon see. (6 months to a year I'm guessing)
