Both are great - sort of different target markets

Different use cases, really.

I was an early supporter of VeChain and had an X-node if you know what that is. A few months ago I lost faith in VET and sold my X-node and cashed out everything into 90% TLOS & 10% BTC. Definitely not trading advice. I'm a horrible trader but after hodling around 4 years I just didn't see it growing like TLOS. DYOR!

Exactly the same here 🤣. I sold my xnode 3months ago after holding it for 3years and half. I then invested almost everything in TLOS. Our stories are so similar

i hope you do well, but maybe diversify more. i hold 20 different projects, and one of the good things about that is i always have something going on somewhere. also it means things just do well and i get to discover it. i had a coin do a 20x and i didn't notice till just last week.

What happen with vet

Well it's a coin entirely tied to the Chinese supply chain so the Evergrande default & fallout seems like it may hinder growth. Also, I checked out the entire VET ecosystem and there was nothing that excited me after 3-4 years. Also, it's an Ethereum fork and will suffer from scaling pains just as it starts to take off with meaningful activity. All just my personal opinion, of course.

Considering Chinese government's attitude towards crypto, any project based in China is extra extra risky at this moment cause they can shut that project down and you can get rekt in the blink of an eye. I had trias and tlos, sold my all trias and put in tlos. Definitely i feel way more comfy.

Considering Chinese government's attitude towards ...

True but I never sold any before because I think vet is positioning itself as a real world logistics utility and it would be exempted from what they see as speculative coins. But the housing crisis in China will be extremely hard given how deep it goes. It could be another 2008 style global contagion. I'm hoping it will be more contained to China but who knows.

China housing bubble burst is another concern, i agree. Vet always seemed like a good coin to me but after Chinese crackdown on crypto, suddenly everything was different for me, i mean it changed my perspective on Chinese crypto projects fully. I figure they see decentralization as a rivalry to their centralized system and their fiat money and perceive this as a genuine threat. I believe nothing good comes out of this for crypto investors in China and even outside of China. Hope they soften their approach to crypto and can contain Evergrande crisis from further spread.

Makes sense. So the market conditions don't really affect the token users. What effect do token users have on the market?
