Hi, how can i transfer my telos from a metamask

wallet to the telos wallet? Keeps saying I don't have enough ram

I don't get how this works, been trying for days. I have 200 telos in my metamask wallet, my online wallet says I have 97% ram and no telos in my online wallet. I try to buy ram and get an insertion error. so i have to have telos in my telos wallet to buy ram? but to get my telos in my online wallet i need ram? Seems pretty stupid that I can't just transfer from metamask into my telos wallet. Telos has taken the simplest thing to do and made it really hard to do, thought this was the best blockchain out....

The existence of various blockchains on which TLOS tokens exist, doesn’t make life easier indeed. But that’s not a Telos thing but the reality of where we are with Ethereum derived Virtual Machines (EVM). Lotsa chains, lotsa ecosystems and bridging between these chains is still in its infancy. If I understand you correctly, you have made a Telos Web Wallet. This is native TLOS but the Telos Web Wallet can also hold TLOS EVM (tEVM) tokens and swap TLOS between native and tEVM). When setting up the Telos Web Wallet, it is recommended to use 1 native TLOS to buy some RAM/CPU. The Telos Web Wallet warns you to do so when your RAM/CPU is low. Obtaining RAM/CPU is important for the native Wallet to function properly. It only has to be done once.

Go to your telos wallet and click on the dapps on the left side you will see an option to buy ram. You don't need a lot.
